Nachos are a delicious snack, perfect for parties, game days, or a fun family dinner! Here’s a simple recipe for classic loaded nachos:
Ingredients:
For the Nachos:
- 1 bag (10-12 oz) tortilla chips
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a blend)
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed (optional)
- 1 cup cooked ground beef or shredded chicken (optional)
- 1 jalapeño, sliced (optional)
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes (fresh or canned)
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions
- 1/4 cup black olives, sliced (optional)
For Toppings:
- Guacamole
- Sour cream
- Salsa or pico de gallo
- Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Layer the Nachos:
- On a large baking sheet or oven-safe platter, spread out a layer of tortilla chips.
- Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese over the chips.
- Add the black beans, cooked meat (if using), jalapeño slices, and diced tomatoes on top of the cheese.
- Add the remaining cheese on top to help hold everything together.
- Bake:
- Place the nachos in the preheated oven and bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
