Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 cups (320 g) all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup (225 g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups (300 g) light brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup (100 g) granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup (240 ml) buttermilk
Optional Glaze:
- 1 cup (120 g) powdered sugar
- 2-3 tbsp milk or heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch (25 cm) bundt pan, making sure to coat all the crevices to prevent sticking.
- Prepare Dry Ingredients:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- Cream Butter and Sugar:
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter with the brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
